Allen Klein has made it his life’s mission to bring laughter and comfort to people who range from mild to severe stress, who have suffered devastating loss, or just need a smile or some wisdom on an ordinary day. He helps people lighten up; he is permission to laugh.
He was a boy who loved Broadway, attended Yale (Drama Department of course), did set design for Captain Kangaroo, was in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and has written 30 books on remaining positive no matter what life brings you.
He says, “you cannot ruin my day” (one of his book titles, actually). He is able to see the positive side. He is a walking “silver lining” to any cloud we are under; we have only to look up to find him waving hello to us.
And, now The Awe Factor; How a Little Bit of Wonder Can Make a Big Difference in Your Life, Allen’s latest book now available for your merriment. Allen talks about what awe actually is and how to get a hold of it to help us in important ways.
The long and the short of it is that after listening to Allen, even though my own list has always been long and in big bold print, I personally could not think of anything in the world of discovery that did not leave me awestruck. Then there is nature; rainbows, fetal development, how trees communicate with and protect each other, the entire world of chemistry, math and physics. As, they say OMG!!
You no doubt have your own list. Run through some of it and see if it does not leave you with a smile on your face. Watching Allen talk about it on his Love Letters Live Youtube is additional joy, and he ends up with his long-time clown signature (yes more than the clownish glasses and tie).
